Gather information (tax returns, salary stubs, etc.) you will need for a mortgage lender to review. Knowing what you are pre-qualified for will make your search for the perfect Lake George NY real estate include only those within your parameters. As a buyer you are entitled to know exactly what you are getting. Don’t rely on the information you have been handed and require an inspection. The inspection is an opportunity to have an expert look closely at your potential home purchase. I recommend getting both a written and oral opinion as to the property's condition.
